It's so hard to believe I was a smoker. All my childhood I hated the smell of smoke. Both my parents smoked and they smoked inside the house, at the dinner table..the worst was in the car. I remember being so grossed out by them, the smell gave me headaches and made me feel nauseous. I would ask my mom to stop when we were in the car but she would just roll her window down.

Crafting with Clay Charms
It's the end of summer and my 8 year old daughter is starting to get a bit bored during the day. All she is doing is sitting in front of the television. "I'm bored and I don't know what to do." She doesn't want to do anything I suggest so finally I say..."That's it! Let's go out!"

15 min Banana Nutella Muffins!!!
A family favourite in this house is mommy's banana muffins. They're not just regular muffins though. Inside there is a hidden drop of nutella that take these muffins to the next level! And honestly I don't mind making them because it literally takes 15 min to make and 15 min to cook. Super easy!
Set your over to 375 degrees.
All you need is:
4 brownish bananas
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
splash of vanilla
1.5 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking soda
Jar of Nutella
Mix the bananas, margarine, sugar and vanilla. Then add the flour salt and baking soda.
Put your muffin liners in the tray and use one spoonful of batter in each one. It should only fill the bottom of the liner. This is where you add a small scoop of nutella. Just add a little bit because it melts as it cooks. Add another spoonful of batter to cover the nutella completely. At this point the liner should almost be full.
Pop them in the oven for about 15 minutes. Depending on your oven, they should be ready between 15-20 min. Let them cool because the nutella inside will be hot and melty!
We make sure bananas are always on our grocery list. Super cheap, super easy. Makes about 12 muffins.
Enjoy!!!

An awesome new gift idea!!
I can't tell you how many times I have had to go shopping for someone's birthday and I have struggled to come up with a good gift to give them. I am not the type of person who will just pick up anything. I want it to be special, to stand out, and mean something to the person! Which is why recently when it was my daughter's birthday I was very amazed when she got this gift from our family friends. BTW....I am SO stealing this idea!

5 Things...
Honestly, I'm bored. Daughter is occupying the downstairs TV with her show, Henry Danger. Hubby is watching the Maple Leafs lose upstairs. Leaves me with the computer and my thoughts. Which brings me to my next blog. I'm aware 80% of my audience doesn't know me at all. Then there are the old friends on facebook, or people who work or have worked with me. But there are probably only 4 people on earth who know these 5 things about me.
